Internal Sales Specialist Maverick Benelux

Maverick AV Solutions is the worldwide leader in AV distribution for smart meetings and smart signage products.

Your role:

In this dynamic position, as Internal Sales Specialist for the Maverick team, you are responsible for achieving sales and margin targets within a designated customer segment (Customer First). You build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, possess sufficient product and market knowledge, and guide the entire sales process—from quote to order completion. You work closely with other Business Units and General Sales and act as the first point of contact for commercial/product-related questions within your customer segment. In this role, you work across the Benelux region, coming into contact with both Dutch and Belgian customers and suppliers.

Core responsibilities:

  • Proactively build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
  • Generate new business through targeted outbound calls and advisory conversations about solutions and products.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for sales and margin.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively use sales techniques and market information to increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage backorders and signal project opportunities.
  • Identify and independently manage projects or, if necessary, seek advice from pre-sales for technical support, in close consultation with the relevant Business Development Manager (BDM).
  • Advise on products, prices, promotions, and special offers to your assigned customer segment.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) with customers.
  • Actively contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Explain the benefits of TD SYNNEX and our value proposition.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes through the QMT and CRM system.
  • Manage and follow up on the sales pipeline and actively update this pipeline.
  • Ensure correct and current customer information in the CRM system.

Skills & Experience:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a commercial (sales) environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach, both over the phone and via email.
  • Good prioritization and planning skills.
  • Results-driven and motivated to achieve goals.
  • Understanding of the sales process and skill in relationship management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with quote systems (QMT), order entry (SAP), and CRM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the product portfolio and/or the AV/IT sector is desirable but not required.
