Account Executive – Digital & Broadcast Sales TEGNA Florida | NBC/ABC/CBS Affiliates Location: Tampa | Orlando | Miami | Jacksonville

TEGNA Florida is hiring a results-driven Account Executive to lead business development efforts across the Sunshine State. At TEGNA, we don't just sell ads—we build multi-platform solutions that drive real business outcomes. With powerhouse stations including NBC (WTLV), ABC (WJXX) in Jacksonville, and CBS (WTSP) in Tampa, we offer unmatched reach and resources. You'll work closely with clients across a wide range of industries to develop innovative, results-oriented campaigns that combine broadcast, digital, OTT, and streaming.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and grow new revenue streams through proactive prospecting, networking, and creative problem-solving
  • Consult with businesses to uncover needs, deliver tailored proposals, and close high-value deals
  • Leverage TEGNA's expansive portfolio to upsell current clients with strategic, full-funnel solutions
  • Develop and manage cross-platform campaigns in collaboration with an experienced Account Management team
  • Stay ahead of market trends, consumer behavior, and digital innovations to keep clients informed and inspired
  • Build meaningful relationships in your community and represent TEGNA at local events
  • Use CRM tools (Matrix, Salesforce, etc.) to manage your sales pipeline, forecast performance, and stay organized

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in media sales, business development, or strategic marketing consulting
  • A digital-first mindset and a track record of exceeding revenue goals through innovative sales strategies
  • Deep understanding of integrated media, including broadcast, digital, OTT, social, and audio, with an emphasis on leveraging streaming platforms for impactful marketing solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Creative, consultative approach to solving client challenges
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and drive to succeed
