The Opportunity

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The Sales Specialist possesses a deep understanding of account-based selling, a proven ability to build and maintain strong total office relationships, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional initiatives. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions for customers, and exceed performance expectations. Demonstrating a strong business acumen, the Sales Specialist will effectively manage territory resources, share best practices with internal team members, and align goals with organizational targets.

Essential areas of responsibility include building rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members and key external contacts, providing healthcare product demonstrations, consulting with physicians and medical office staff to promote products and provide education, strategically managing and growing relationships with key accounts, regularly reviewing and analyzing sales data to create effective territory plans, maintaining a competitive edge by addressing market challenges, and achieving all sales performance goals.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. Education/certification/experience includes a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, at least one year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical sales. Skills/knowledge/abilities include a proven record of accomplishments, demonstrated interpersonal skills, well-developed written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with healthcare providers, knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing, new product launch experience, broad therapeutic area experience, and a valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 – $160,000 annually. This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets.
