The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The Professional Sales Specialist possesses a deep understanding of account-based selling, a proven ability to build and maintain strong total office relationships, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional initiatives. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions for customers, and exceed performance expectations. Demonstrating a strong business acumen, the Professional Sales Specialist will effectively manage territory resources, share best practices with internal team members, and align goals with organizational targets.

Essential areas of responsibility include building rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members and key external contacts, providing healthcare product demonstrations, consulting with physicians and medical office staff to promote products, strategically managing and growing relationships with key accounts, reviewing and analyzing sales data to create effective territory plans, maintaining a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges, working with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives, maintaining a call average with healthcare providers, taking calculated risks to solve issues creatively, adhering to Teva's compliance policies, and achieving sales performance goals.

Education/certification/experience: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in related field. At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred. Skills/knowledge/abilities: Proven record of accomplishments in this specific market toward meeting established objectives, demonstrated interpersonal skills, well-developed written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with HCPs in both face-to-face and virtual environments, knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred, new product launch experience preferred, broad therapeutic area experience particularly in therapeutic area preferred, candidate must be able to successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening, valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Travel requirements: Regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel. Current territory boundaries include and may be subject to change: North - VA border, South - Jacksonville, East - Outer Banks, West - Lillington.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 – $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets and adheres to the plan's established guidelines.
