Sales/Customer Service Support Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales/Customer Service Support Specialist in Austin, Texas. In this contract role, you will play a key part in supporting sales processes, managing client communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of various administrative tasks. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing two days of remote work per week, and includes a comprehensive training program to set you up for success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to sales managers by managing customer accounts, coordinating shipments, and handling pricing approvals.
  • Maintain clear and precise communication with over 100 customers to build and foster strong relationships.
  • Assist in registering and updating information in company systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage billing functions and ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other software tools, including Microsoft Excel and SAP, to organize and track data efficiently.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and support the team's overall success.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service or sales support, with a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate-level skills such as data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and SAP for managing customer and sales data.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle inbound calls and email correspondence professionally.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between office and remote work.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to a team-oriented culture.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
