Manages and optimizes sales processes for Teledyne Marine products within the Offshore Seismic market. Coordinates product management activities, supports customer needs through internal channels, and ensures high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Manage and optimize sales process workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate product management activities, including product launches, updates, and customer feedback integration.
Provide ongoing customer service and support, resolving issues through collaboration with internal teams.
Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports on process improvements and customer satisfaction.
Support contract review and proposal generation, focusing on process compliance and accuracy.
Lead internal training and documentation efforts related to sales process and product management.
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts through proactive support and communication.
Assist in the evaluation and pursuit of key accounts sharing tactics and agreeing on sales strategy.
To the best of ability, provide technical product support.
Identify and report significant trends especially when supporting multiple accounts within the same market segment.
Makes periodic customer visits and communicates via e-mail and phone to promote our strategic long-term relationship building agenda.
Actively participate in research activities.
As required, prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales within assigned geographic territory.
Represents Company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Assist in market development research by performing rudimentary or refined internet research in collaboration with inside sales persons or management.
Prepare and submit comprehensive written activity, data collection and detailed expense reports.
This position currently has no supervisor responsibilities but could change over time.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred (but not required) and 5 years of directly related experience and/or training in the marine seismic industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates with a strong geoscience background will have an advantage.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and/or legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to senior/Corporate management and customers.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software.
Other Essential Duties: Follows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.
Other Skills and Abilities: Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100.
Other Qualifications: Ability to travel (domestically/internationally) up to 25%. U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
