Senior Manager of Sales Enablement

The Senior Manager of Sales Enablement will join a team responsible for enabling one of the largest sales organizations in North America through industry-leading best practices and tools. This role is accountable for the creation, development, delivery, and evolution of enablement programs and tools that enhance frontline execution of sales processes. Success in this role requires deep understanding of sales processes, sales systems, and innovative enablement solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales leaders to define solutions for enterprise-wide sales initiatives, impacting 6,000+ frontline sales associates, leaders, and support professionals.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales leadership, technology, marketing, analytics, customer experience, and training teams to develop and execute solutions.
  • Develop, execute, and iterate on concept tests to determine the viability of new programs and deliver new capabilities.
  • Construct business cases for solutions with clear ROI roadmaps.
  • Develop key metrics indicating success, including leading and lagging indicators.
  • Create change management strategies and plans to drive faster adoption, higher utilization, and proficiency of solutions and tools.
  • Identify and structure the ecosystem of enabling technologies by sales roles; evaluate fit/gap of technologies required to enable sales solutions.
  • Drive continuous innovation in enablement programs and tools to enhance overall experience and excellence across sales and support teams.
  • Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in business or technology preferred

    Experience:

    • 7+ years of professional work experience in a related discipline (e.g., sales business, functional, or support role), OR
    • 3+ years in a professional services organization with demonstrated sales function experience.
    • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce or other CRM technologies.
    • Expert in MS Office Suite.
    • Experience implementing technologies; CRM experience preferred.

    Professional Skills:

    • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize feedback and direction from multiple stakeholders.
    • Strong presentation skills tailored for audiences at multiple organizational levels.
    • Analytical and logical problem-solving skills for complex challenges.
    • Self-starter able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while delivering high quality and service levels.
    • Ability to engage, align, and mobilize stakeholders to build consensus.
    • Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder meetings to gather and structure business requirements for solution specification and execution.
    • Strong general business acumen.
    • Working knowledge of change management and adoption methods.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

    Work Environment:

    • Can be remote within the U.S.
    • Must be able to travel to Sysco facilities or operating companies; up to 25% travel may be required.
