Job Overview BPC Home Service is seeking an experienced and confident In-Home Sales Consultant (Project Consultant) to meet with homeowners, deliver professional presentations, and close same-day sales for home improvement projects. This role is ideal for a motivated closer with proven experience in residential sales — particularly roofing, remodeling, or energy-efficient installations.
As an independent sales professional, you'll meet pre-qualified clients in their homes, explain project options, and help them choose the best solutions for their needs. You'll also generate your own leads through networking and referrals, earning uncapped commissions for every successful contract. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional in-home consultations with homeowners to present service options including roofing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, windows and doors, and AC unit installations.
- Generate new business through self-sourced leads, referrals, and local networking.
- Explain project scope, materials, warranties, installation process, and financing options clearly and accurately.
- Use company-approved sales software to create, price, and process contracts.
- Ensure all customer signatures and documents are obtained properly using company systems (no external devices or emails).
- Submit completed paperwork, driver's license copies, and permits promptly to management.
- Upload all required documents, photos, and signatures into company software within established timelines.
- Close sales during or shortly after the initial appointment (within five business days).
- Adhere to all company pricing, terms, and policies — no unauthorized promises or contract changes.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and integrity at every client meeting.
- Represent BPC Home Service with enthusiasm and accountability in all interactions.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in in-home or outside sales, preferably in residential construction or remodeling.
- Proven success in same-day closing and high-value sales.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented professional.
- Ability to generate and manage self-sourced leads in addition to company-provided appointments.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency using tablets, CRMs, and contract management software.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor (1099) or W-2 if preferred.
Compensation Structure
- 100% commission-based earnings potential: $100,000 – $200,000+ per year.
- Commissions paid 50% after contract signing and rescission period, and 50% upon project completion.
- Year-end performance bonus opportunities.
- Payroll available via check (Friday 3:00 PM) or direct deposit (Friday availability if submitted by Thursday 3:00 PM).
- Flexible payment options: W-2 or direct 1099 to your business.
- No reimbursements for fuel, meals, or personal expenses

Schedule
- Flexible schedule: two appointments per day, Monday through Saturday.
- Expect weekend appointments during peak demand.
Work Location
- Onsite / In-Person.
- Travel required within assigned residential territories for in-home presentations.
