Sales Operations Manager

They are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to empower commercial excellence through efficient operations, process optimization, and seamless coordination across internal and external stakeholders. This pivotal role ensures smooth execution in order management, pricing, documentation, and sales support—all vital to delivering on our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead resolution of customer escalations related to pricing, orders, samples, documentation, and complaints.
  • Serve as the crucial link between Sales and Customer Service for accurate, timely resolutions.
  • Support customer service representatives on price discrepancies, replacements, and order issues.
  • Manage the full pricing lifecycle: coordinate quotes, approvals, and booking.
  • Oversee contract cycles—ensuring updates, renewals, and integrity.
  • Maintain the customer contract portfolio including item additions, volume transfers, extensions, and closures.
  • Provide interim account coverage for small accounts or during representative absences.
  • Handle customer sample requests and tracking through Salesforce.
  • Request and follow up on technical/regulatory documentation.
  • Submit and monitor GBS requests (e.g., documentation, master data).
  • Act as Salesforce champion for the cocoa sales team: ensure data hygiene, best practices, and pipeline accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze reports such as contract balances, order history, and volume trends.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to Sales Managers for strategic decisions.
  • Manage timely provision of product information, documentation, and QA responses.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in sales operations, commercial support, or customer service in B2B settings.
  • Experience in food ingredients, commodities, or cocoa sectors preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage contracts, pricing, and customer documentation.
