After Market Parts/Inside Sales Representative

Nailor Industries, Inc. is an industry leading global manufacturer of commercial HVAC air distribution and control products. We are seeking a suitably qualified After Market Parts/Inside Sales Representative for our subsidiary, Thermal Corporation, a manufacturer of Custom Air Handler Units. The successful candidate will interact with our Houston management team and become a key player in growing the AFM business and improving the customer experience.

We are looking for a key individual to perform the following:

• The AFM Parts/Inside Sales Reps purpose is to prepare and execute all aspects of the sales cycle from RFQ to delivery with specific focus to the Aftermarket parts for our Custom Air Handler Units.
• Works with the Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing Teams to ensure delivery of timely and accurate quotations to help meet our corporate objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds rapport with the Sales Rep. network to become a dependable resource of AFM parts.
• Understands the functionality of Air Handler Units and the components utilized to build a complete unit.
• Prepare quotations for parts and components as requested from our field sales groups in accordance to defined pricing strategies, present quotation to customer, and upon acceptance of quotation, provide technical document submittals as required.
• Research Bills of Material of past projects to identify parts requested for quotation.
• Coordinate with internal departments; Engineering and Manufacturing departments to develop cost requirements to make replacement part requested.
• Coordinate with vendors the cost of third-party components as required.
• Review and process customer purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Manage the work order requisitions to manufacture parts and work with internal stakeholders to ensure the process is implemented and lead times are met.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing department the requisitions of third-party components to ensure they are procured and delivered within specified timeline.
• Responsible to maintain parts sales pipeline and effectively forecast opportunities.
• Responsible to track the progress of parts sales orders and to generate receipt notification for accounting to invoice at time of transaction.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• An advanced degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred or a related degree and/or commensurate experience.
• Some prior commercial HVAC technical background or knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• Working knowledge of engineering skills necessary for production support and development.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time, work well under pressure and meet agreed upon schedule commitments.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple functions within the company to plan, direct and manage activities with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Skills Requirements:

• Superior written and verbal communication; Technical writing ability
• Familiar with MS Office products.
• Familiarity with automated selection tools.
• Exceptionally strong organizational capabilities
