Job Summary

In this role you support our internal sales organization and external clients while promoting customer retention by developing programs and processes to foster excellence in relationships with new and established brokers and employers.

  • Lead a team of high performing sales support team members to meet organizational goals and provide quality representation in the marketplace
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members, providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Manage escalations within the team
  • Responsible for concept design, data analysis, and external reporting to brokers and employer groups as well as data analysis and internal reporting to management
  • Enhance and expand broker relationship, ensuring superior customer service while implementing strategic initiatives to retain and increase block of business and improve processes
  • Work closely with sales, enrollment, finance, customer service, claims, underwriting and IT to coordinate all support services for assigned customers

Skills And Background You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but may be substituted with additional experience
  • At least 4 years of management experience is required
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance operations, insurance premium account management, or insurance relationship management is required
  • Must have experience in broker management, customer onboarding, and sales service experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of employee benefits products; voluntary benefits is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel 10% of the year
  • Understanding of Lean mgmt. or Six Sigma concepts
  • Professional designations such as CLU and ChFC are desirable

Salary Range: $77,250.00 - $123,500.00
