Sponsorship Sales Manager

The Sponsorship Sales Manager, Legal Media Group is responsible for renewal and new business development across our media portfolio of business. The role will focus on developing new sales, managing and upselling existing customers, and accelerating our business in Hong Kong and assigned North Asian markets. The responsibilities include and is not limited to identifying potential new customers, cold calling, conducting face-to-face meetings/ video conferencing, providing product demonstrations, negotiating and closing contracts. This role may be expected to travel. The position is responsible for managing the entire pre and post sales process within assigned territories and to work closely with the relevant product teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

In this opportunity as Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will:

  • Drive end-to-end sponsorship sales: prospecting, articulating value, meetings/demos, solutioning, negotiation, and close; own renewals and upsells.
  • Build and deepen relationships with existing clients and senior stakeholders; uncover pain points and tailor media/event solutions.
  • Create and maintain a qualified pipeline; deliver clear visibility on key accounts, market updates, risks, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with publishing and events teams to ensure excellent customer experience and campaign delivery.
  • Maintain disciplined communication, reporting, and cross-functional coordination; be a proactive team player.
  • Apply strong commercial acumen and understanding of advertising/sponsorship cycles to consistently hit targets.

You're a fit for the role of Sponsorship Sales Manager if you have the following required qualifications:

  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience in media/events (B2B publishing and/or conferences), with a strong record of meeting/exceeding quota.
  • Proven in complex, multi-stakeholder media solution sales in North Asia; resilient, adaptable, and effective under pressure.
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and shifting client priorities.
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; rigorous pipeline, forecasting, and reporting discipline.
  • Legal industry or law-firm client experience is a plus; collaborative "people person" and team player.
