Assistant Equity Sales Intern

Midcap Partners is an investment bank specialized in Small & Mid Caps. Based in Paris and London, Midcap Partners offers four types of services: Corporate Finance, Issuance of BSA/BSAR, Debt Structuring, Equity Reclassification, M&A Advisory, and more.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Equity Sales Intern, you will provide support to the Equity Sales team on all the daily tasks of the desk. This is a 6 month off-cycle internship, based in Paris and working full time. We are ideally seeking a December 2025 start date.

Role Responsibilities

• Newsflow monitoring
• Writing morning emails and market update
• Assisting in writing trading ideas pitch
• Taking care of customer requests
• Promoting marketing and corporate access events
• Roadshows organization
• Database management and optimization

Experience / Competences

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or similar fields
• Computer coding such as python, VBA or similar
• Clear interest in financial markets
• Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in both French and English (both oral and written)
• Microsoft package computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)

Desirable

• Previous experience in Finance Services
• Knowledge of SQL
• Italian is beneficial, but otherwise not required
