Your Mission As Business Developer (m/f/d) at Trench Group, you will drive global growth by identifying new applications and future business fields in the energy transmission sector. You'll collaborate with Product Management and R&D to shape strategic plans, promote innovative solutions to key customers, and provide market insights to guide product development. Your role combines technical expertise, strategic thinking, and customer engagement to expand our global footprint and support sustainable innovation.
Your Tasks Efficiently manage quotation requests: Handle clarifications, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure a transparent and organized pipeline. Support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM): Assist in building and nurturing relationships with key customers, especially Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Distribution System Operators (DSOs), while representing the full Trench Group portfolio. Organize client visits and events: Plan and execute engagements that foster long-term customer relationships aligned with strategic goals. Contribute to market development: Identify customer needs and support initiatives that strengthen the company's market position. Provide valuable insights: Collect and share information on customer behavior, industry trends, competitor activities, and portfolio developments to inform strategic decisions. Engage in industry events: Participate in conferences and trade shows as part of your professional development, gradually taking on advanced responsibilities such as forecasting and win-loss analysis.
Requirements Educational Background: Master's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (recent graduates welcome). Career Motivation & Soft Skills: Strong motivation to develop a career in technical sales, with excellent organizational and communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus. Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 30%.
