What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be the primary architect of license compliance strategies across Southeast Asia, directly influencing Trimble's market integrity and revenue growth. You will serve as the definitive subject matter expert, moving beyond simple enforcement to act as a strategic advisor who navigates complex C-level negotiations and legal escalations, shaping how the digital construction industry values and protects innovation.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Spearhead regional license compliance strategies by implementing custom workflows that align with local laws while driving market growth.
  • Support and manage high-stakes C-level negotiations and legal escalations to mitigate piracy risks and convert non-compliant users into long-term partners.
  • Orchestrate a global network of agencies and partners, providing expert coaching to ensure a unified, win-win approach to software licensing.
  • Harness advanced data analytics and internal tools to identify piracy leads, ensuring accurate forecasting and robust pipeline management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Channel partners to identify upsell opportunities and minimize churn through licensing education.
  • Mitigate piracy pushback and prevent renewal churn by acting as a consultant-minded negotiator focused on long-term ecosystem health.
  • Advise LC Agencies on adequate licensing settlements as per the PoA (Power of Attorney)

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of proven experience in License Compliance, Audit, or Piracy management specifically within Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
  • Expert-level negotiation skills with a track record of managing C-level discussions and complex legal escalations.
  • Strong technical proficiency with Salesforce CRM and license compliance tools like Cylynt (Smartflow).
  • Deep understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) methodologies and software license agreements.
  • Fluency in English (certified) and a strong analytical mindset for scenario-based data analysis.

Bonus Points For:

  • Professional proficiency in Vietnamese(Highly Preferred).
  • Direct experience managing Intellectual Property (IP) firms or specialized consulting experience.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (In-Office)

Travel Requirement: 60%
