Sales And Technical Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Employs different sales tactics to acquire new chicks and feed customers.
Follows agreed weekly route plan to ensure maximum coverage in allocated sales area.
Acts as a link between feed agents and the Company by receiving orders and communicating the same to the Warehouse/Store Supervisors and Sales/Logistics Manager.
Responsible for developing, maintaining & building strong customer relationships in the designated sales area.
Continually looks for new customers and sends the Technical Support team to inspect the site/houses for any potential customer.
Handles sensitive customers' complaints to maintain strong relationships.
Maintains relationships with growers through site visits, WhatsApp groups and phone calls.
Providing technical support and advise to growers on broiler and feed management.
Responsible for the operation and safety of the allocated motorbike.
Responsible for motivating & enforcing team compliance with all relevant Company SOPs & policies, statutory regulations and expected company behaviors at all times.
Familiar with Dar es Salaam and entire coast region and network of farmers within the region.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Diploma in Animal Husbandry/Animal Health. Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management will be an added advantage.

• BS in Animal Health is preferable.

• 3 years' experience in either Sales and distribution and in technical assistance in poultry sector.

• Good communication skills (oral and written)

• Problem solving

• Good interpersonal skills

• Computer literate (Excel)

• Planning skills

• The candidate must be proficient in motorcycle riding and possess a valid license authorizing them to operate a motorcycle.

• A minimum of one year of riding experience is required.
