Responsibilities
Manage inbound leads, building relationships to qualify prospects and facilitate smooth introductions to UL sales teams.
Proactively network to generate new business contacts using market research, digital tools, and social media. Engage prospects through email, phone, video calls, and other electronic communication methods, following established processes.
Understand customer needs and identify opportunities where UL can deliver value, ensuring seamless handoffs to sellers to maximize lead-to-sale conversion.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads from multiple channels (e.g., marketing campaigns, customer outreach, Field Engineers) against defined criteria, working under moderate supervision.
Track leads through the early stages of the sales cycle, hand off qualified opportunities to the appropriate salesperson, and monitor follow-up to ensure progress.
Support Account Executives (AEs) by generating and qualifying inbound and outbound leads.
Provide lead qualification support for existing Key+ accounts and route additional qualified inbound leads.
Collaborate with account teams to optimize the lead pipeline, improving efficiency in identifying high-potential opportunities.
Qualifications
Technical High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science) or in Business/Economics with a strong interest in technology.
Previous experience (1-3 years) in B2B sales or business development within a technology-driven environment.
Fluent Knowledge of Italian, English and French.
Basic understanding of technologies, standards, or services offered (e.g., EMC testing, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, software).
Ability to Translate Technical Concepts into Business Value: Communicate technical benefits clearly and in a business-oriented manner.
Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and lead tracking.
Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other lead generation platforms.
Ability to interact confidently with technical stakeholders and business decision-makers.
Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships to drive business opportunities.
Strong focus on lead generation, qualification, and conversion goals.
The ideal candidate could be based in Carugate (Milan) or Saint-Aubin (Paris).
