UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead our sales team focused on Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Cybersecurity Professional Services. In this high-impact leadership role, you will oversee a team of sales professionals, drive strategic account planning, and lead the execution of go-to-market initiatives that accelerate revenue growth across our security services portfolio.
As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and managing a high-performing sales organization, mentoring team members, and fostering collaboration with technical and delivery teams to ensure strong market alignment. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to scale across key industries and establish UltraViolet Cyber as the partner of choice for modern security operations and consulting.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team responsible for driving revenue in MDR and cybersecurity professional services.
- Set and manage team quotas, KPIs, and pipeline targets aligned with company revenue goals for FY26 and beyond.
- Oversee the full sales lifecycle across the team from lead generation and qualification through solution design, proposals, and contract close.
- Drive strategic sales planning, including territory management, account prioritization, and segmentation strategies.
- Partner with marketing, solution architects, and delivery leaders to ensure sales enablement and market-aligned messaging for MDR and professional services offerings.
- Review and refine sales strategies, methodologies, and processes to improve win rates, deal velocity, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented sales culture that values innovation, integrity, and customer success.
- Support team members in client-facing meetings, executive presentations, and negotiations for key pursuits.
- Track team performance using CRM (Salesforce) and provide regular forecasting, reporting, and business updates to executive leadership.
- Represent UltraViolet Cyber at key industry events, helping to build market presence and pipeline through thought leadership and relationship building.
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams with a track record of achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of managed security services, including SOC operations, EDR/XDR, SIEM, threat detection, and response.
- Proven ability to lead and coach teams through complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical contributors.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipeline, team performance, and forecast accuracy.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align cybersecurity solutions with client needs, risk profiles, and compliance drivers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to support team members in executive-level engagements.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support team activities, customer meetings, and industry events.
- Experience selling MDR and consulting services into industries such as healthcare, financial services, government, or critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CMMC, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
- Background in technical sales or sales engineering within cybersecurity is a strong plus.
- Experience working in or leading teams within a high-growth or startup cybersecurity environment.
- Existing relationships with CISOs and decision-makers in the cybersecurity buying community.

$150,000 - $200,000 a year. The Director of Sales will be subject to a bonus based on team performance.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors.
