About The Role

Doka Sverige offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary Head Of Sales to drive the development and implementation of the company's sales strategy. In this role, you will play a central part in expanding Doka Sverige's business presence, ensuring profitable growth, and strengthening our position in the Swedish construction industry.

As a member of the Country Management Team, you will oversee sales performance, strategy execution, and profitability management, while leading and developing the sales organization. This role requires both strong commercial acumen and the ability to inspire, coach, and empower your team towards continuous success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the sales team – using coaching, motivation, and clear performance management to help them achieve their individual and collective goals.
  • Build, strengthen, and expand long-term customer relationships, understanding the unique requirements of different clients, including framework agreements and project contracts. Combining efficient & compliant project and contract management.
  • Lead and implement Doka Sverige's Sales Strategy to achieve growth in formwork, related services, and the introduction of shoring/scaffolding solutions.
  • Drive sales and margin goals and steering business development utilizing KPIs to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Proactively analyze market trends, competition, and customer behaviors to adapt strategy to market needs.
  • Collaborate closely as a part of Doka Sverige's Management Team in implementing strategic growth initiatives and proactively identify and bridge improvement potentials at the crossroads between different functions and departments.
  • Optimize offer and order processes (claims management, risk mitigation, service charges, etc.) through structured monitoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure financial responsibility by analyzing results from project-level profitability to overall budget performance.
  • Promote customer value using Doka Sales tools (Victori, DokaCalc, DSP, Cockpit, etc.).
  • Act as a role model and ambassador of Umdasch Group principles, Doka values, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Background

  • Strong knowledge of the Swedish construction industry with practical experience in building construction, site operations, and project management.
  • Proven track record in strategy development and implementation within a competitive environment.
  • Strong financial and business acumen : e.g. pricing strategies, margin management, discount structures.
  • Proven successful Sales Management experience within the construction supply industry, preferably with exposure to rental and mixed business models.
  • Preferably Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Construction) and/or Commercial/Business disciplines.

Leadership Qualities

  • Skilled in coaching and developing people – recognizing that success comes through the strength of the entire team.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with an ability to listen, understand, and evaluate employees' and customers' needs.
  • Strong communicator who can clearly explain decisions (including group-level directives) and balance multiple perspectives.
  • A decisive and result-oriented leader with strong self-confidence who thrives in a competitive environment – "every day is a new match to win".
  • Pragmatic, with the ability to read situations and balance internal and external perspectives.
  • Open to change management, leveraging transitions for the benefit of Doka Sverige.

Other Skills

  • Proficiency in financial analysis – from project-level insights to overall budget responsibility.
  • Strong IT knowledge and systems experience , particularly with internal Doka tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (both written and spoken).
