About Us
Technical Service is one of several shared areas at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), and we provide the central service, operation, and maintenance on SDU's campuses. We are approximately 100 employees distributed across all SDU campuses. The position is located in the Technical Department, where you will be part of an experienced team that collaborates closely with the operational organization at the Knowledge and Culture Center Alsion. You will have a large touchpoint with both employees, students, and external partners. We are therefore looking for a colleague who possesses good collaboration and communication skills and can commit across various fields.
About Job Responsibilities
As a service technician, your primary task is to perform maintenance, repairs, and continuous optimization, as well as ensure that operations run optimally. You will join the team's daily operational tasks and solve tasks such as:
The team also handles daily user inquiries and emergency tasks. You are expected to participate in all types of tasks, e.g., setting up tables/chairs/furniture or equipment in connection with events, moves, or exams. It will be an advantage if you can join our call-up system, where call-ups for emergency tasks such as leaks and fire alarms are handled outside of normal working hours.
Tasks are solved in close collaboration with colleagues throughout Technical Service, the Shared Administration, and the operational organization at Alsion. There will be good support from colleagues in the form of second-person training and sparring in task solving.
About You
We expect you to have a technical background and experience with and interest in operating technical installations in buildings. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of and interest in control/automation.

Salary and employment terms
The position is 37 hours with paid lunch break and flexible working hours.
Workplace: Alsion 2, 6400 Sønderborg. You must be willing to solve tasks at other locations of SDU.
Employment takes place according to the current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the professional organization.
The position is desired to be filled on February 1, 2026, or as soon as possible.
