At UPM Raflatac Mexico we are looking for an Area Sales Director - LATAM to join our team in Tultitlan, State of Mexico to lead LATAM sales activities and strategy.

What you will do

As an Area Sales Director, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team to achieve high performance and business goals
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Set team and individual goals, track progress, and provide regular feedback
  • Identify training needs and create opportunities for skill development and growth
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product management) to develop competitive solutions tailored to regional markets
  • Develop and implement sales tactics and processes that drive revenue growth and profitability while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values
  • Monitor sales performance, adjust strategies as needed, and prepare forecasts and reports for senior management
  • Ensure prompt and professional resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in line with company policies
  • Oversee commercial complaints, collaborating with internal teams to protect business interests
  • Develop and execute action plans to address underperformance and achieve targets
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills, stay updated on market trends, and promote learning within the team

Who you are

  • University degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in leading a sales team and a strong track record in sales performance
  • Broad commercial understanding and strategic mindset
  • Proficient in CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Skilled in pipeline management and sales performance analysis using KPIs
  • Experienced in market penetration strategies, especially in LATAM regions
  • Capable of budget planning and managing regional sales budgets
  • Knowledgeable in pricing strategies tailored to regional markets
  • Strong data analysis and reporting abilities
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus

Location: Mexico City and Metropolitan region

Regime: Full-time, probationary contract (3 months), direct hire

Travel requirements: up to 50%
