Major Account Executive (Sales Role)

The Major Account Executive (Sales Role) is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets by driving profitable UPS revenue growth through Small Package (SP) sales, new business development, and the retention of existing key accounts.

As an account owner, this role covers all customer-related responsibilities, including client relationship management, solution development, and continuous support. The Major Account Executive analyzes customers' logistics and supply chain needs, proposes UPS Small Package and logistics solutions, and promptly responds to client requests to ensure satisfaction and business growth.

※ Note: At UPS, "Small Package (SP)" refers to express parcel services.

Role & Responsibilities (Field Sales Focus)

  • SP Field Sales & Account Management: Act as the primary contact for assigned SP customers, conduct regular client visits, resolve issues promptly, and drive business expansion.
  • Customer Needs & Solution Selling: Analyze customer logistics and supply chain requirements and propose tailored UPS Small Package and Healthcare Logistics solutions.
  • New Business Development and Sales Engagement: Identify and pursue new SP business opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and client meetings. Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and expand existing accounts.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal operations, customer service, and global account teams to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Performance: Track, report, and manage sales activities and pipeline to achieve or exceed assigned targets.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Preferred: Sales experience in Small Package (SP) companies (e.g., UPS, DHL, FedEx). Also preferred: Candidates with SP logistics experience at shipper companies or those who have managed SP shipping operations.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Korean is required. English proficiency is preferred but not mandatory; strong English skills will be considered a plus.
  • Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, coupled with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
  • Sales Discipline & Execution: Proven ability (or strong potential, for entry-level candidates) to plan and execute effective SP field sales activities.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (1-hour lunch break excluded)

Work Location

  • 94-3, Mullae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea
