The Buick/GMC Account Executive will coordinate the planning, development and execution of advertising activities for Southeast Region Buick GMC Local Marketing Associations (LMAs).
Manage and establish yourself as the market expert for assigned Southeast Region LMAs
Present and communicate national/regional/local marketing needs and opportunities
Produce detailed, high-level reports displaying a thorough understanding of industry data and trends
Work closely with all agency departments (creative team; planner and media team) to develop a winning strategy, using available creative assets and media outlets
Assist assigned field Account Supervisor with the preparation and follow up for LMA meetings
Manage, in conjunction with Account Coordinator, up to date accurate information for monthly reports
Travel:
Small amount of travel involved. Market-specific LMA meetings quarterly, usually involves 1-2 overnight stays
Education:
4-year degree in advertising, marketing, or relevant field
Experience:
1+ years agency experience
Advanced MS Office skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
Training in print/digital/broadcast production with retail automotive, or retail account management experience is ideal
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent presentation skills.
Analytical skill to understand data and trends.
Organized and diligent who consistently identifies and addresses details.
Good interpersonal skills; must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Compensation Range: $49,305 - $62,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
