AMP Sports & Entertainment Account Executive

An exciting opportunity to work in omni-channel sales across a variety of sports and entertainment assets! The AMP Sports & Entertainment Account Executive will negotiate and sell linear, digital, podcast, experiential, sponsorship, and social inventory for Tennis Channel Platforms, AMP's new talent-led content division, new entertainment & lifestyle platforms, sponsorship assets and partake in cross-company selling functions. College Football/Football: The Triple Option (Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram, Rob Stone)

Sports + Culture: Throwbacks (Matt Leinart, Jerry Ferrara)

Women's Basketball: Post Moves (Candace Parker, Aliyah Boston)

Men's Soccer: Unfiltered Soccer (Landon Donovan and Tim Howard)

Football Team Shows: The Dynasty (Alabama), The Script (Ohio State), The Echoes (Notre Dame), The Stampede (Texas), The Blueprint (Michigan), and The Tundra (Green Bay Packers)

Entertainment/Lifestyle: Amazing America & Criminally Obsessed

Broadcast Sports Across Sinclair's 178 Broadcast Stations across 81 DMA's

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Maintain existing and forge new relationships with agencies and clients to maximize revenue for the various assets.

Sell a variety of sports solutions across the AMP Sports & Entertainment portfolio.

Educate agencies and client community about AMP Sports & Entertainment assets.

Position and sell the networks against the competing marketplace.

Sell and orchestrate multi-level sponsorship packages with major advertisers.

Work closely with Marketing to build customized branded content and sponsorship elements across linear and digital.

Work both independently and as part of a close-knit team to create sales presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:

BA degree required

Minimum 3-5 years of advertising sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and multi-platform sales.

Strong agency & client relationships

Proven track record of follow-up and success in the selling multi-platform opportunities

Solid analytical and organizational qualities

Excellent written and presentation skills

Ability to be a consummate team player and a goal-oriented thinker

Proficient in MS Office applications

The base salary compensation range for this role is $95,475 to $127,300. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary quarterly bonus, which would be awarded based on individual and company performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
