This job is a member of the Global Sales team, specifically in Agency Sales. If you enjoy building meaningful relationships, working across teams, and diving into data to drive performance, this role is for you. You'll have the opportunity to engage with top agency partners, attend exciting industry events, and help shape strategic campaigns-all while growing your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with corporate or agency accounts to develop outcomes to benefit the customers of American Airlines when they fly
  • Analyze customer needs through both online and in-person meetings with agency or corporate partners
  • Monitor and analyze performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive growth and optimize results
  • Coordinates and implements programs with appropriate field and staff departments
  • Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations to support retailing activity
  • Communicates updates on American Airlines products and services as needed

All you'll need for success:

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years experience working in Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis or other airline commercial teams
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Airline or business to business sales experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

  • Ability to operate in a highly competitive, demanding environment
  • Ability to communicate to high level executives
  • Strong account strategy development and execution skills required
  • Understanding of modern retailing approaches and strategies
  • Understanding of modern airline distribution technology such as NDC, online booking tools, GDSs
