Automotive Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team at Briggs of Fort Scott. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, a strong understanding of automotive sales processes, and a track record of driving performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies to improve sales results.

Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, set goals, and provide training and development opportunities.

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase dealership profitability and market share.

Customer Service and Relationship Management:

Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely manner.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels and ensure efficient vehicle ordering and stocking processes.

Monitor aging inventory and implement strategies to reduce holding costs.

Financial Management:

Monitor and analyze sales reports, expenses, and profitability.

Work closely with the finance department to secure competitive financing and leasing options for customers.

Compliance and Administration:

Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Review and approve sales contracts and agreements.

Training and Development:

Coordinate training programs for sales staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.

Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
