We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with expertise in electrical controls and automation to lead our sales team and drive business growth. This role requires a proven leader capable of developing strategy, mentoring sales professionals, and building strong relationships with customers in industries such as dry food, agriculture, material handling, and consumer products.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in electrical controls, automation, and system integration services.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
Oversee the full sales cycle - from lead generation through negotiation and closing - ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver successful customer solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics for leadership.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and brand reputation.
5+ years of sales experience in electrical controls, automation, or industrial systems.
At least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
Strong technical understanding of PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, and industrial automation solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred but not required).
Ability to travel regionally to support clients and sales team activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
