We service the San Diego region and are seeking a dynamic In-Home Sales Manager to lead, develop, and scale a high-performing sales team. This is a high-level sales leadership opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in in-home sales-ideally in the home remodeling or 1-Day Bath space.
Position Summary:
As the In-Home Sales Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving revenue growth, developing sales talent, and shaping the sales culture. This is not a behind-the-desk position-you'll be in the field, actively coaching, closing deals alongside reps, and refining processes that directly impact the bottom line.
This role is ideal for a high-level sales leader who thrives on accountability, coaching, and winning. You must be comfortable in a hands-on leadership role with measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop: Mentor a growing team of In-Home Sales Representatives, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
Field Coaching: Run leads weekly alongside reps as a live coaching tool to increase close rates and elevate sales acumen.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with inside sales and marketing to optimize lead flow, appointment quality, and territory performance.
Performance Management: Monitor individual and team KPIs, providing actionable coaching and support to drive consistent quota attainment.
Close Support: Join in-home appointments as needed to assist in real-time deal closing and objection handling.
Training & Onboarding: Lead dynamic sales meetings and ongoing skill development sessions to onboard new hires and upskill current reps.
Retention: Execute cancel-save appointments and rehash efforts to maximize revenue from existing pipeline opportunities.
Team Accountability: Set clear expectations, provide transparent feedback, and create a culture of discipline and ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
5+ years of successful in-home sales experience, ideally in the home improvement, bath/kitchen remodeling, or other high-ticket residential services.
2+ years of sales team leadership with a track record of developing top-performing reps.
Deep understanding of the 1-Day Bath concept, or similar rapid-install business models, is strongly preferred.
Highly skilled in coaching, closing, and sales process optimization.
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage performance, pipeline, and personnel effectively.
Tech-savvy: proficient with digital presentations, CRM tools, iPad contract software, and sales automation.
