Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Monday -- Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the ceramic and glass manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and industry trends.
  • Minimal travel to local customers and occasional trade shows.
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver sales quotes to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical School Certificate in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Experience reading technical drawings
  • A "hunter"/self-starter
