The Inventory Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to manage and market our unsold inventory programs. This position will collaborate with our Inside Sales Team, District Sales Managers, Production Team, and Traffic Department to ensure world-class customer service. The Inventory Sales Manager will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day sales tasks, which may include, but are not limited to, professionally handling inbound and outbound customer calls and requests for information, pricing, product availability, and timely and accurate processing of sales orders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year Bachelors degree in Business related field
2+ years of sales experience or successful completion of Nucor's DDSM program
Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate/advanced steel-making knowledge.
Outside sales experience
ERP/Oracle experience
Inventory management experience
Physical Demands:
Computer use: Extended typing, data entry, and screen time for CRM, email, and orders.
Manual dexterity: Frequent hand use for typing, phone, and documents.
Visual focus: Sustained attention to screen details.
Environmental Demands:
Office-based: Primarily in a climate-controlled setting.
Mill access: Occasional exposure to noise, heat, dust, machinery, and uneven surfaces; PPE required.
Fast-paced: Requires multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
