Kinney Homecare Regional Sales Manager

Scope Of Responsibilities: Responsible for leading and expanding the company's sales initiatives across its core DME product lines: CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, orthotics, and mobility aids. This role includes managing key accounts, developing new business, and driving revenue growth through strategic planning, education, and market development. The Sales Manager ensures that all sales activities align with regulatory compliance and company standards while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Summary: Responsible for driving sales performance and growth across designated product lines including respiratory devices (CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators), orthotic supports, and mobility aids. This role identifies market opportunities, fosters relationships with referral sources, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with experience in healthcare sales and an ability to lead through example, coaching, and data-driven strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies focused on high-priority product categories: CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, orthotics, and mobility aids.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies focused on high-priority service categories: Delivery at Discharge, Kinney Home Services, and Home Modifications.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources including physicians, respiratory therapists, hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including clinical, billing, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and support of DME products.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends; adjust strategies as needed to remain competitive.
  • Create, interpret, and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics from internal and external sources.
  • Ensure sales compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines, insurance requirements).
  • Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs, and customer follow-ups.
  • Organize and participate in local/regional trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Provide product training and education to referral sources and clients as needed.
  • Work with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum: BS Degree Preferred: Master's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Experience: Preferred: 5 years of sales experience in the healthcare, medical device, or DME industry Minimum 2 years in a sales management or leadership role Experience with physician and provider outreach Demonstrated success in growing revenue and building customer relationships Knowledge of payer sources (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance) and DME billing practices

Special Conditions Of Employment:

  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation: $61,000-$65,000 annually for base. In addition, a competitive commission structure. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
