Our client is seeking a driven and strategic Director of Sales to spearhead growth initiatives within the market. Strategic Market Leadership: Develop and execute a multiyear business plan to capture 20-30% market share across the builder channel.
Sales Growth Execution: Drive revenue and margin growth by implementing channel-specific strategies around pricing, programs, and customer engagement.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, builders, and partners to support continuous growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, operations, and product development to create tailored campaigns, programs, and customer solutions.
Performance Management: Commit to annual sales and gross margin targets while effectively managing budgets and resources to maximize return.
Market Intelligence: Analyze builder channel trends, identify opportunities, and provide input on product design and go-to-market strategies.
CRM and Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on performance, pipeline, and competitive insights.
Customer Engagement: Lead sales presentations, resolve challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and problem-solving.
Travel: Conduct regular customer visits and attend industry events across the U.S. to drive engagement and market visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of professional sales or marketing experience in the builder channel within a product manufacturing environment.
Proven success developing and executing strategic growth plans and achieving quota performance.
Experience managing budgets and leading cross-functional initiatives.
