The National Accounts Project Manager will work with the company's sales representatives, branch managers, customers, and suppliers to define new business opportunities, establish suppliers, establish daily procedures, and integrate new national accounts into Packaging Solution's operational systems. Entry level project managers are designated as "Associate" Project Managers and work within close supervision of the director and senior project managers for the first 6-12 months of their employment on solely owned projects. Senior project managers work under minimum supervision, taking full accountability and ownership of their projects.
Manage smooth transition of new national accounts to multiple Packaging Solutions branches by ensuring SLEAs invoicing requirements are clearly communicated, tax forms and other new customer setup forms (credit approval, W9, taxable/non-taxable...etc.) are completed.
Manage the communication and implementation of customers' service requirements on a location-by-location basis, as per the contractual obligations. This is attained by utilizing project management practices and working in close relationships between customer sites, local and national level suppliers, national account and local sales and local Packaging Solutions branches.
Understand, implement (train branches on new/changed process) and monitor these changes to business processes that have the potential to impact customer's account (ordering, invoicing and/or payment process)
Conduct audits for prospective customers and identify opportunities at customer sites that fit the Packaging Solutions inventory management program.
Closely monitor AR levels for existing accounts
Work closely with other NAX team members, AR department, cash applications and AP department
Assist the local branches and sales team in projects aimed at improving service levels.
Tools utilized included executive summaries and analysis.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, Master's preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and/or Mexico without a Visa.
Minimum of three years' experience consistently excelling in operational, business analysis, or project management roles.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
Occasional travel - less than 10%.
Experience using Coupa, Ariba and other third-party systems.
Experienced in AR and AP.
