Outside Sales Representative

Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth. If you are passionate about construction and have a proven track record in sales and business development, we want to hear from you.

Job Requirements:

1. Effectively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to creative deal solutions to client onboarding.
2. Aggressively generate revenue from new sales through cold calling and other prospecting strategies.
3. Develop and deploy sound account development strategies to nurture and grow client relationships.
4. Create and adhere to a well-researched client development plan, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and goals.
5. Maintain excellent knowledge of manufacturers, installation procedures, and processes related to panelized construction.
6. Work under the direction of the Director of Sales and Marketing for the commercial and residential division.
7. Be responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary vendor negotiations in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
8. Communicate pertinent projects, sales, and marketing information to senior management and branch location to ensure alignment and collaboration.
9. Develop quarterly action plans and target accounts in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve sales objectives.
10. Be willing to travel as required/assigned using the VP travel calendar to plan a 90 day travel schedule.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field (preferred)
• Must possess excellent communication skills with customers, teammates, and employees at all levels of the company.
• Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and results driven.

Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
