The Academic, Medical, Corporate Regional Sales Manager - Northern California will sell EBSCO Information Services products to primarily academic institutions, corporate libraries, medical libraries and professionals responsible for knowledge management in Northern California. Additional accounts may be added or deleted as deemed necessary for EBSCO Information Services.
This position manages all of our product lines and categories including full text databases on EBSCOhost eBooks, and software as a service solutions (SaaS) - supporting researchers, librarians and more.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories). Candidates must be located in Northern California.
You will be welcomed as a member of the Academic/Medical/Corporate Sales team, a team of about 60 people as well as members of the Sales and Marketing teams. There will be ample resources, tools, training, and support to ensure your success as a Regional Sales Manager and your development and career growth at EIS.
7+ years of sales experience selling in the academic or medical field is preferred
Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%
Must live within the territory: Northern California
Must have proven communication, follow-up, and sales skills
Experience selling in the academic or medical field is preferred
Experience with SaaS and information service sales a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires constant learning and adapting
Ability to do side-to-side comparison selling of research databases
Technical selling experience in order to sell SaaS products
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
Territory management that includes cold calling experience
Knowledge of CRM systems and video conferencing technology
USD $115,750.00 - USD $165,360.00 /Yr.
