This individual will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing customer relationships as well as growing sales and prospecting for new business in the assigned territory for the Avtron Encoders Nidec business. Territory Midwest (WI, IL, IN, MI) Other regional areas can be considered based on candidate's locale and experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Excellent Communication Skills. The candidate will be required to interact with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Customer Service & Quality. Moderate to Strong Technical Skills. The candidate will effectively communicate electrical and mechanical details to the customer and to internal engineering as required. Stay informed about market trends, gather customer feedback and translate the information into successful sales strategies and actions.

Learning Period Depending on experience: High experience person: 3-6 months Low experience person: 6-12 months
Working Conditions: Home-based, Travel 50% Desirable but not critical to be located within the territory Modest physical requirements including lifting/carrying equipment
Education/License Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred; other degrees considered. Current, valid, unrestricted driver's license
