Norbar Torque Tools, a member of the Snap-on Incorporated family of companies, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to sell Norbar and Sturtevant Richmont torque tools within the North Central Region of the US. Responsibilities include: developing an effective sales plan to introduce the Norbar & Sturtevant Richmont product lines, qualifying, building, and selling through the distribution network, cold calling and selling direct within the assigned territory, making regular contact with customers, preparing call reports and sales quotes, maintaining customer files, contact information, and customer history, and may attend conventions and trade shows. May also work outside of assigned territory to support national accounts and other territories. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, outside industrial sales experience, excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent hands-on skills along with a solid mechanical aptitude, proficiency in Microsoft office, ability to learn various company and vendor windows-based software programs, ability to work well as a member of a team, overnight travel up to 50%, ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and walk/traverse half a mile or more through manufacturing sites or field locations, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Preferred qualifications include an understanding of pneumatic power tools, prior sales experience calling on the power generation, heavy manufacturing, or aviation and automotive assembly industry, prior sales experience of an engineered-product, air or electrically operated geared power tools, or torque tools, knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for Assembly, and experience building name and brand recognition. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience plus annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% at target.
