Job Purpose: Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, providing technical information, expanding existing accounts, and developing new accounts. Duties:
Analyze and summarize competitor information and trends, identify sales opportunities.
Researching and identifying potential new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and working with Engineering staff to prepare quotations.
Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries, obtaining Credit Applications, FCC licenses and other support documents.
Transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date; explaining out-of-stock situations.
Suggests related and new items, explaining technical features.
Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
