Sales Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant to join our team in Sacramento, California. This contract-to-permanent position involves supporting the sales team and General Managers with administrative duties throughout the sales process, from initial proposals to post-sale activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with General Managers and the sales team to assist in client relations, including preparing proposals, media plans, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Handle the contract process from initiation to execution, ensuring accuracy and timely completion for direct clients and agencies.
- Coordinate daily communications between account teams, creative departments, and inventory managers to address client needs and requests.
- Oversee the Proof of Performance process, working with the Operations team to ensure quality control of client deliverables.
- Serve as the Telmar specialist, providing support to the sales team in pulling reports and offering training as needed.
- Assist in the billing process by liaising with sales, billing, and collection teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, fostering collaboration and achieving quality results.
- Utilize creative thinking to manage multiple projects and ideas simultaneously.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and market insights to provide valuable expertise to clients.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to organize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and prioritize effectively.
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in advertising, marketing, and sales.
- Self-motivated with 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, with coursework in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in inside sales, direct sales, inbound sales, and outbound sales.
