Salesperson
Point Iron is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help drive sales growth, expand our customer base both locally and nationally, and contribute to our company’s rapid expansion. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills and serve as a true ambassador for the Point Iron brand both internally and externally. Objectives of this Role:
- Represent the brand in a professional manner that fosters repeat business and a positive customer experience
- Identify new lead opportunities and potential upsells
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quota expectations
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and resolve issues promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage regularly with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Utilize industry software and technology to enhance the customer experience
- Participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to improve sales operations
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Point Iron’s products and services to provide accurate information and effective solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer-service skills, especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong business acumen and professional ethics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- One or more years of sales experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience in solar products, Gator parts, or agricultural machinery parts is highly preferred
- Familiarity with sales-related software and CRM tools
- Strong negotiation and time-management skills
