Are you currently in a Sales Admin or Sales Coordinator role at a hotel and ready to take the next step in your career? Hyatt Regency DFW, conveniently located at Terminal C of DFW Airport, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team.

This on-site, entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality sales and eager to grow into a quota-bearing role. You'll work closely with experienced Sales Managers and the Director of Sales & Marketing, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the success of our hotel's sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to:

  • Implement creative strategies to attract new hotel business.
  • Develop skills to identify new business opportunities and potential accounts.
  • Manage projects that promote agile and innovative ways of working within the hotel.
  • Test and experiment with new collaborative sales tactics.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Analyze booking trends within the sales funnel.
  • Foster team engagement through fun and competitive activities.

Partner closely with Sales Managers to:

  • Conduct engaging hotel site tours for prospective customers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with in-house groups and create memorable experiences.
  • Collaborate across departments to highlight sales initiatives.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and provide administrative support.
  • Maintain organized files, systems, and communication as directed by Sales Managers.
  • Follow up on proposals, contracts, appointments, and assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Assist in selling guestrooms, meeting rooms, and additional services as needed.
  • Manage internal sales systems for regular reporting and booking transactions.

Qualifications:

Experience:

A genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Committed to a career within the Sales function.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

1 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.

Proficiency in general computer knowledge.
