Bank And Sales Audit Position

This position is responsible for performing key aspects of the bank and sales audit process. This includes the balancing of store specific sales on a daily basis, reconciliation of corporate bank and credit card accounts, reconciliation of store specific bank accounts, and processing of vendor coupons submitted to the Store Support Center (SSC) each month. Day to day responsibilities include:

Reconcile store bank accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies with store management or banks.

Download and reconcile daily bank files using specialized billing software; record journal entries.

Reconcile credit card transactions, including chargeback investigations.

Balance store sales in the audit system and resolve issues with store management and IT.

Manage daily fund transfers from store accounts to corporate accounts and handle check processing.

Assist with accounts payable checks, including sorting and stuffing.

Report reconciliation issues to management.

Log, sort, and mail vendor coupons for processing.

Deposit checks and cash received at the Store Support Center (SSC).

Skills and Requirements:

2 years of relevant work experience related to bank reconciliations and depository activity.

Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

Detail-oriented, especially regarding processing and reviewing documentation, data entry, and data integrity - High School diploma is preferred.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to build strong partner and interdepartmental relationships.
