Sales Compensation Manager

The Sales Compensation Manager works alongside the Senior Manager with business leaders at all levels, collaborating on innovative data-based solutions in pursuit of the company's sales goals. It is expected that this position will be a subject matter expert for design and implementation of new plans, while helping to calculate payments for and maintain current plans. He/she will also lead projects through analyzing and modeling commission plans and what if scenarios. It will serve as a customer-facing capacity to Shaw's sales force, researching and answering inquiries, as well as preparing and delivering training to support the implementation of new plans. Strong candidates for this role will be self-motivated, dynamic individuals who seek to learn continuously and who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead strategic Compensation initiatives that support the company goals for specific Selling Divisions, understand the business, and be a primary point of contact.

Innovate, model, and promote all sales incentive comp plans with the business, ensuring competitive pay to market.

Drive the goal setting process by partnering with the business to establish collaborative goals.

Ensure continuous improvement and alignment to profitable growth, market share, revenues, and product mix through compensation plan design.

Partner on Communication/Implementation/Training on Plans to the field and field leadership.

Execute annual calibrations for residential division sales compensation plans.

Ownership of any 'out of system' payment calculations.

Respond to internal customers regarding commission & plan inquiries.

Ensure plan documentation is created/updated appropriately.

Position Requirements:

4 year degree

4- 6 years' work experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical skills

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Must exhibit effective communication, organization, self-motivation, and an ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information

Occasional domestic travel required

Preferred Skills:

Project management experience

Previous compensation experience

FPAC Certification

Work Shift:

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
