The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Sales Team and must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Sales Managers. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. This dynamic position involves a variety of administrative and client-facing responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Answering phones, taking leads, answer questions, all with a professional and friendly demeanor
Creating digital and electronic proposals
Drafting contracts and addendums for sales managers with excellent attention to detail
Assist managers with their Envision Sales Bookings, blocking space and room @types, etc.
Assist with site inspections, sending alerts to hotel, ordering amenities, preparing site kits for managers, and pre-walking meeting space and guestrooms.
Assist with Rooming Lists Requests and Pick Up Updates for clients
Perform Rooming List Audits
Perform Back Up duties when other Administrative Assistants are out of the office
Oversee/Respond to Emails for assigned managers when they are out of the office
Process expense reports upon request
Assist Director of Sales and Marketing with promotional fliers (PowerPoint/Canva)
Process World of Hyatt Meeting Planner Points
Create diagrams and estimates for managers as needed
Pull weekly/monthly reports for Director of Sales & Marketing
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of computer applications, including all Microsoft Office products
A desire to advance into a career in Sales & Events with Hyatt
Willingness to learn
