Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for investigating hotel availability, responding to customer leads/inquiries, reserving guest room & function space, and submitting proposals/contracts for definite business. Responsible for group quotations and negotiating the terms of sale (within the booking parameters established). Responsible for site inspections, client entertainment, & sales travel. Report on sales production, key tentative/prospect bookings, and keep management abreast of future booking opportunities affecting the hotel. Responsible for pre & post sales call reporting, maintaining lead log assignments & follow-up, adhering to group booking procedures & approval process in place, group revenue forecasting & communication of business assessment/conditions, strategic pricing and placement recommendations, competitive study & reverse selling, sales automation system management (Delphi), sales achievement to goals, management of all 3rd Party affiliations, Global Sales relations & hotel production, and industry event representation and ROI. Responsible for managing assigned segment, and providing feedback on group booking trends.
Relationship
Reports directly to the ADOS or DOSM, interacts with and assists the ADOS direct and supervise all Administrative staff and relationships with all Department Heads as necessary, as well as Housing companies, Travel Agencies and 3rd Party affiliates.
Education and/or Experience
2 - 4 years experience in hotel sales at a downtown property. Proficiency in Delphi, sound time management & customer focus skills required. 4-year college degree required.

The salary range for this role is $33.29 to $35.34. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
