Sales And Marketing Representative

Anderson Erickson Dairy (AED) is Iowa's oldest and largest family-owned dairy. We have been providing the best dairy products in the industry for nearly a century. General responsibilities include the following:

• Collaborate with our corporate sales team to establish strategic growth in the Des Moines regional market.
• Collaborate very closely with our sales/marketing and distribution leadership to ensure that our customers achieve 100% satisfaction.
• Customer focused- must be able to maintain and develop strong relationships with our customer base.
• Promote our brand in a professional manner.
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

Required skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills- verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong ability to perform both "cold calls" or direct sales leads.
• Strong understanding of pricing structures and mathematics.
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented.
• Excellent time management.
• Strong computer skills- Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Strong analyzation skills.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Strong ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

Pre-requisites for candidate consideration:

• Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or related field is preferred, we will consider demonstrated professional work experience in lieu of education.
• Recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience is the grocery or food/beverage distribution preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
