Sales Representative

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Representative located in Birmingham, AL. We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Metal Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a broad range of products including lead, steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys to the industrial, manufacturing, energy and defense industries. You will be responsible for new business development, management of existing accounts, and provide technical and product support to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience preferably in metals, distribution, technical, and/or construction sales
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of metals & fabrication processes
  • Ability to read blueprints or CAD drawings preferred
  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a book of business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Epicor)
  • Willingness to travel
