Sales Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Specialist to join our team in New Gloucester, Maine. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to sales and purchasing activities while leveraging LinkedIn and AI tools for outreach and research. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude to support various projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Conduct lead qualification and research to identify potential opportunities for sales and workforce development.

Utilize LinkedIn and Sales Navigator tools to craft targeted outreach strategies and connect with potential clients.

Support grant research efforts, focusing on training and workforce development initiatives.

Assist in the creation and management of purchase orders and other purchasing activities.

Collaborate on fundraising projects and provide effective sales support.

Organize and track sales data using Excel to maintain accurate records and reporting.

Employ AI tools to enhance research and outreach processes.

Develop and execute strategies to approach lower-level targets effectively.

Maintain a high level of organization and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Participate in video meetings and discussions to align on goals and provide updates.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sales, purchasing functions, or related roles.

Proficiency in LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for networking and outreach.

Strong skills in Excel for organizing and analyzing sales data.

Familiarity with AI tools and their application in research and outreach.

Ability to manage grants and fundraising initiatives effectively.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
