Service & Sales Manager

The Service & Sales Manager assists the Community Office Manager in carrying out all office duties and responsibilities and is the co-manager of the office sales culture implementing targeted sales and marketing processes. The Service & Sales Manager is also responsible for ensuring operational integrity, including compliance in all policies and procedures.

Assists Community Office Manager in directing and carrying out all sales activities and initiatives Contributes to the Branch's sales goals by personally recognizing sales and referral opportunities and effectively referring customers. Monitors individual sales and customer service performance versus objectives; discusses performance with Community Office Manager on a frequent basis. Identifies business opportunities and refers customer when appropriate to all areas of the bank; business banking, investment services, insurance. Etc. Solicits new business from present and prospective customers; maintains ongoing business relationships with present customers in order to take advantage of additional cross-selling opportunities. Assists in the development of marketing strategies and all office sales activities. Provides direct service to customers of the bank with respect to deposit, loan, and other miscellaneous products and services. Retains and grows customer relationships by responding to and following through on customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Continually works to raise the level of service provided and ensure team members exceed customer satisfaction. Actively participates in the daily managing of the Community Office staff. Coaches and trains office team members and assists with counseling. Appropriately uses signing authority and overrides; carefully applies policies and procedures while granting exceptions. Completes loan documents and approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority. Demonstrates the Banks standards and ensures all Community Office staff members understand policies and procedures. Communicates and implements changes to policies and procedures Assures office physical security: dual control, audits, compliance with regulatory policies and procedures Manages the office in the absence of the Community Office Manager as directed. DUTIES SUPPORTING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank consumer products and services. Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable software, systems and equipment. Promotes a positive team environment. Participates as necessary to ensure that the offices daily responsibilities are met. Ensures supplies are replenished in a timely manner. Understands and complies with all audit and Security Procedures. Provides guidance and training to Customer Service Representatives and Consumer Services Specialists Performs other duties as assigned.
