Job Summary: This position manages strategic wholesale partner relationships to increase advance commitment sales of lodging, passes, lessons, rentals, lift tickets, and various lines of business. They will simultaneously oversee support of the TPSD team's communications and sales and marketing tools, liaising with the Sales Ops team and other key stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the team is able to meet account needs and drive business. This position will play a key role to drive top wholesale priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate mass communications with our Travel Partners regarding pricing, contracting and various resort lodging, ancillary products, pass, or lift ticket information.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with your assigned accounts.
  • Monitor market production for our resorts to determine areas of opportunity.
  • Support TPSD team as needed, including coordination of Travel Partner promotional items ordering and inventory management.
  • Utilize Delphi FDC daily for client communication tracking, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in industry conference events and support when these conferences are held in our owned/operated resorts.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market sales and marketing plans within your assigned markets.
  • Conduct remote and on-site training of travel partners representing our resorts including site tours and FAM experiences.
  • Assist travel partners with any lodging needs including help with reservations, photos, amenities, and other questions.
  • Assist travel partners with any mountain product promotion, fulfillment or troubleshooting.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings and maintain internal relationships with Revenue Management, Reservations, Lift Ticket Offices, Accounting, Rental Shops, Ski and Ride School and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.
  • 5+ years resort/hospitality experience required; experience with Vail Resort products and Travel Industry/Tourism Industry a plus.
  • Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Computer Knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook required.
  • Knowledge of RPOS, Inntopia and Delphi FDC preferred.
  • English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in another language highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Flexible schedule, must be available to work nights and weekends.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presentations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Vail Resorts mountains and FIT/group wholesale preferred.

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $56,485.00 - $74,518.63. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
